These Terms of Use govern access to and use of websites, Atlassian Forge apps, forms, integrations, and related online services made available by The Autonomous Collective Pty Ltd, trading as TAC.
By accessing, installing, or using a TAC app or online service, You agree to these Terms. If You are using the service on behalf of an organisation, You represent that You have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If You or Your organisation has a separate written agreement with TAC, that agreement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency for the relevant services.
Definitions
In these Terms:
- App means any TAC app, form, integration, workflow, or extension made available through Atlassian Forge, Atlassian Cloud, or another TAC-managed online channel.
- Customer Data means information, content, configuration, files, form submissions, or other material that You or Your users submit to, generate in, or make available to the App.
- Service means the App, this website, related online pages, support workflows, and any associated TAC-hosted or Atlassian-hosted functionality.
- TAC, We, Us, or Our means The Autonomous Collective Pty Ltd.
- You or Your means the individual using the Service, or the organisation on whose behalf the Service is used.
Scope of the Service
TAC may provide Apps to support AWS cloud services, customer onboarding, service requests, support, project workflows, automation activities, and related business processes.
Some Apps may operate inside an Atlassian Cloud site using the Atlassian Forge platform. Installation and access may require a site administrator to approve the App and any permissions shown by Atlassian during installation or update.
Atlassian Services
Atlassian products, Atlassian Cloud, and the Forge platform are provided by Atlassian, not TAC. Your use of Atlassian products is subject to Atlassian's own terms, policies, permissions model, and availability.
TAC is not responsible for Atlassian account administration, Atlassian product availability, Atlassian permission prompts, or changes made by Atlassian to its products or platform.
Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, TAC grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for Your internal business purposes.
You must not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App except to the extent permitted by law.
- Circumvent access controls, installation controls, permission prompts, rate limits, or security features.
- Submit content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, malicious, or not authorised for use in the Service.
Customer Data
You retain ownership of Customer Data. You grant TAC the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service and related TAC services.
You are responsible for ensuring that Customer Data is accurate, lawful, and authorised for submission to the Service. Do not submit sensitive personal information, regulated data, credentials, secrets, or payment information unless TAC has specifically requested it and agreed the handling requirements with You.
Personal information is handled in accordance with Our Privacy Policy.
Administration and Permissions
You are responsible for Your Atlassian site configuration, administrator approvals, user permissions, access reviews, and the actions of users who access the Service through Your accounts or systems.
App updates may add, remove, or change features or permissions. Where Atlassian requires administrator review or renewed consent, You are responsible for deciding whether to approve the update.
Intellectual Property
TAC and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, workflows, documentation, templates, designs, trademarks, and related materials. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.
You retain ownership of Customer Data and any materials You owned before providing them to TAC or the Service.
Availability and Changes
TAC may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, platform changes, legal compliance, or business reasons.
We aim to provide useful and reliable services, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Fees and Separate Agreements
Some Apps or forms may be provided without a separate charge. If a Service is supplied as part of a TAC engagement, statement of work, subscription, support arrangement, or other written agreement, fees and commercial terms are governed by that separate agreement.
Warranties and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TAC excludes all warranties, representations, conditions, and guarantees that are not expressly stated in these Terms or a separate written agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, guarantee, warranty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
To the extent permitted by law, TAC will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption arising from or related to the Service.
Suspension and Termination
TAC may suspend or terminate access to the Service if We reasonably believe that You have breached these Terms, created a security or legal risk, misused the Service, or if continued access is no longer commercially or technically practicable.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Atlassian site administrators may uninstall Forge apps through Atlassian's app administration tools where applicable.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. The updated Terms take effect when posted, unless a later effective date is stated.
Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means You accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
